How long it will take to earn your degree

Dear Septian,

Earning a degree at WGU Texas is a very personalized experience. The flexibility and ability to fit a college education into your schedule is one of the main benefits of our online learning model.

How long will it take to complete your program? It specifically depends on you:
  • How much background knowledge do you already have?
  • Do you have any relevant college experience?
  • How much time and effort are you willing to spend on your studies?
Few colleges—online or on-campus—give you true flexibility to complete your degree on your own timetable. Even fewer use challenging assessments rather than seat time to measure your progress. That's the WGU Texas advantage. And, it's a big one.

You may be able to earn your degree faster (and for less money). Many students do. Of course, you'll have to work harder to go faster. But, don't worry, you'll have a mentor who will work with you to develop a personalized Degree Plan that will help you stay on track.

If you have any other questions or you're ready to talk about your options and a personalized plan for you, contact your Enrollment Counselor.

Best regards,
