Dear Septian,

Join us for an engaging presentation on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. MT. There are a few things mom taught us about how to behave at the dinner table or in the company of guests: don't talk about politics, religion, or money! Negotiating career salaries and asking for more money can be very uncomfortable. Job seekers can sometimes feel powerless when it comes to salary negotiation once they reach the interview stage. However, in today's current environment of worker shortage and increased competition you may have more power than you think. The Salary Talk presentation from The Career & Professional Development Center will explore the strategies and resources of salary negotiation. This presentation will include what should be considered when approaching this topic and research tools to help develop informed negotiation tactics.
