Complete Your WGU Readiness Assessment This Weekend

Dear Septian,

Our records show that you have not yet completed the WGU Readiness Assessment. As you know, passing the Readiness Assessment is required in order to be admitted into your program. Many prospective students find that the weekend is a great time to invest about two hours to complete the task. Below we’ve included instructions on how to take the WGU Readiness Assessment. You can do it!

Overview and Instructions

The WGU Readiness Assessment is a three-part, online test consisting of an Academic Skills Test with multiple-choice math and language questions, the WGU Essay Exam, and the Admissions Inventory questionnaire designed to determine if WGU Texas is a good fit for you. Your results are used to conduct a basic evaluation of your level of readiness for college study. For more details and tips to help you prepare, click here

To Take the WGU Readiness Assessment

  1. After claiming your Student Login, access the WGU Readiness Assessment website here.
  2. Read the instructions on the page very carefully. Once you begin the test, you cannot back out of it at any time—backing out will result in a failing score. You only have one opportunity to satisfactorily complete the WGU Readiness Assessment in any 30 day period. (Technical difficulties are an exception.)
  3. Click the "Take the Assessment Now" button and log into the Student Portal. You will find additional instructions for the assessment under the "Admissions" tab.

Please let us know if you have additional questions!

Sincerely,

The WGU Admissions Team
