Overview and Instructions The WGU Readiness Assessment is a three-part, online test consisting of an Academic Skills Test with multiple-choice math and language questions, the WGU Essay Exam, and the Admissions Inventory questionnaire designed to determine if WGU Texas is a good fit for you. - Read the instructions on the page very carefully. Once you begin the test, you cannot back out of it at any time—backing out will result in a failing score. You only have one opportunity to satisfactorily complete the WGU Readiness Assessment in any 30 day period. (Technical difficulties are an exception.)
- Click the "Take the Assessment Now" button and log into the Student Portal. You will find additional instructions for the assessment under the "Admissions" tab.
